Whatman GD/X PVDF Syringe Filters, 0.45 µm, 25 mm, 1500/Pk - 6873-2504

Whatman stages multiple glass fiber layers inside the GD/X cartridge to intercept particles in progressive steps, leaving only the smallest fraction to reach the tightly rated final membrane. A syringe filter's small hold-up volume limits sample loss, a meaningful difference when working with a limited or precious sample. The PVDF membrane clarifies samples at the rated pore size and reverses PVDF's natural affinity for protein adsorption. The PP housing sustains full structural integrity during elevated-temperature filtration operations and holds its seal true run after run. Where small-volume samples must reach the instrument clean, low hold-up volume keeps sample loss minimal while the instrument stays protected from particulate damage.

• Housing retains dimensional stability and seal integrity through elevated-temperature operation up to 121°C.
