The Acrodisc housing platform pairs with Pall's own proprietary membrane media, built for demanding analytical and bioprocess workflows. A sterilizing-grade syringe filter delivers point-of-use sterile filtration in a single-use format, without the housing and gasket maintenance a reusable stainless steel filter holder requires. The nylon membrane draws aqueous buffers without pre-wetting and resists particle shedding through extended cycles. The PP housing sustains efficient flow on viscous samples while standing firm against aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols during regular handling and presses snugly against the membrane during the pass. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.
